Jason begins the leadership of the Foundation with strong background in the many issues associated with business planning and the economic impacts on family, employees and the opportunity to serve the community through nonprofit organizations.

He was admitted as a Certified Public Accountant in 2000, following achieving a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Finance, cum Laude, from Marian University, Indianapolis, IN.

Stephen T. Mellinger, Founder (Retired, December,2015)

Steve brings his 48 years of business, financial planning, nonprofit & board involvement and consulting experience to the foundation. The desire to create a model that improves and addresses donor issues of sustainable revenue to a recipient charity from single donations solves an ongoing donor frustration. Other donor benefits are also created for donors that most feel are significant improvements over existing giving models. He held top positions in Michigan and Los Angeles for nearly 30 years with Northwestern Mutual Life.

Barry D. Silbermann, BSIE, JD, Board Member and Founder

Barry D. Silbermann has enjoyed long standing general and special healthcare counsel professional, strategic planning advisory and leadership relationships with leading health systems organizations and with medical, scientific and business leaders in a broad spectrum of provider, clinical research, and reimbursement and finance projects.   He has a unique mix of contract, transactional, regulatory compliance and legal affairs management expertise with large law firm (Wood, Lucksinger & Epstein, Loeb and Loeb, and Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro) and general counsel decision making experience.

Barry’s key works have been:

JOHN WAYNE CANCER INSTITUTE –Led planning, creation and organization of the JWCI;
HYTHIAM, INC. – Established In House General Counsel office for healthcare services and IP licensing NASDAQ corporation;
TRIAD HEALTHCARE REORGANIZATION – Selected to serve as Special Counsel;
USC KECK SCHOOL OF MEDICINE – Selected as General Counsel and Board advisory counsel to USC Keck School of Medicine;
CEDARS-SINAI MEDICAL CENTER – Analyzed and established successful systematic process for Medical Staff Disciplinary QA enforcement under the Medical Staff Bylaws and Peer Review due process laws.

Robert Hersh, EA, IRS Enrolled Agent, Founder (RETIRED)

Mr. Hersh specializes in audit defense, seizure, lien and levy cases before the Internal Revenue Service and various other regulatory agencies throughout the United States. These assignments have led him to design and resolve both business and personal tax situations. He has expertise in the Motion Picture and Entertainment Industry. His works in Tax Planning and contract negotiations in Professional Sports and Entertainment industries have gained high regard.

Bob earned his BA at Temple University and is a Fellow of The National Tax Institute. He also holds numerous professional designations.

In practice for fifty years, he is also an expert in the complex tax problems associated with divorce proceedings and real estate transactions. Mr. Hersh was one of the initial designers of the fundamental accounting system used by most health maintenance organizations and has played a significant role in guiding clients through public offerings.

An inaugural graduate of the National Tax Practice Institute, and a former Associate Fellow Instructor, Mr. Hersh is also a knowledgeable turnaround manager and financial planner. In addition to the above, Mr. Hersh has lectured throughout California on various tax subjects and has taught for the Internal Revenue Service Small Business Tax Education Program and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
